Arrival. Fun-loving Brit Tina arrives in Australia but gets into serious trouble when she and Kirsty pick up the wrong bag at the airport.

Trouble

Tina finds herself in deep trouble when Stefan, the owner of the rucksack, makes it clear that he will do anything to get it back… but Bryan and John have other plans.

The Bush

Angie and Ricky are lost in the bush together, but John and Wendy seem to be coping without them. Meanwhile, Kirsty leaves the hostel and Tina, and Penny is flirting with Dave.

Desperate Measures

Penny and Miranda face disaster when Penny finds that all their money has been stolen. She can't tell Miranda and in desperation she tries a nude photo shoot, but is rejected.

Who's That Girl?

Having found comfort in Dave, Penny is on top of the world. But any dreams of a relationship are destroyed when she opens the door of his van and finds another girl inside.

Body and Soul

An angry Penny takes her chances with the Escort Agency. Ricky is encouraged by John to chance his luck too.

Breakaway

After a disastrous first meeting, Penny is persuaded to give the escort business another go. Meanwhile, Tina is spinning out of control. Her financial situation is so desperate she breaks into a car.

Rampage

Despite having no money, Tina decides to paint the town red. She tries it on with Bryan and another backpacker boy but she's bitten off more than she can chew when a punter on the street turns nasty.

Money

Rick gambles away all his money at John's card game, and Wendy finds out he's been dipping into their bank account. Tina is in George's debt.

Compromising Positions

Wendy confronts Ricky about the gambling, and after she gives him an ultimatum, Ricky decides to sell drugs for John. Meanwhile, Penny discovers that Aaron has some unusual preferences when it comes to sex.

Flirt

Tina gets drunk at her birthday party and flirts with every man in the hostel. Unfortunately, one of them doesn't take no for an answer and things take a dangerous turn when he follows her to her room.

Vanished

When Tina disappears after her birthday party, everyone but Bryan assumes she has a hangover. Bryan is pretty sure that she has run out but he doesn't know why. Penny is caught ""on the job.""

Water Under the Bridge

Wendy discovers how much Ricky owes to John. When John hassles Ricky for the money he owes, Wendy pays the debt off. Meanwhile, Angie is still angry with Klaus, and decides to test him. Penny tries to explain to Dave what she was doing.

Invitation

Having been rejected by Inez, John starts flirting with Miranda and invites her to the pub. Dave and John come to blows over Miranda. Meanwhile, Inez takes direct action over the van by selling it without telling Carla… Carla takes direct action over Inez.

The Old and the New

Penny warns Miranda to stay away from John and Chris. A young Canadian girl arrives looking for ex-lover Carla. John goes looking to complete his unfinished business with Inez.

Ipso Facto

Bryan's concern for Tina stuffs up John's big drug deal. A new arrival to the hostel prefers Isabella to Inez.

Happy Anniversary

As George and Isabella celebrate their fifth anniversary, George discovers Tina's been arrested but doesn't realise Luc is making moves on Isabella.

Truth

Tina's return leads to a shock revelation as we find out who raped her. Eleni's got her hooks into Jun.

Consequence

Tina tells Bryan she was raped. She doesn't say whom but thinks he knows and vows revenge. Luc is moving in on Isabella; everyone turns against Eleni.

Vengeance

Miranda, rebuffed by Dave, runs straight into John's arms. Bryan, looking for revenge for Tina, runs into a human brick wall. Dave collapses after a dive.

Reunion

Dave is revived by Klaus and makes up with Penny… a little too late. Isabella finds Luc irresistable. Tina finds Bryan wants more than friendship.

The Things We Do For Love

John thinks he's found welcome relief from the gloom with Inez. But Klaus has a big surprise for him.

Moving On

While the rest of the hostel bids a fond farewell to Dave, Isabella says goodbye to Luc in a way neither of them will ever forget.

Proposal

A nervous Ricky asks Wendy to marry him then and there, John and Inez continue their game of Nervous Ricky asks Wendy to marry him, right here, right now. Her response makes him feel even more insecure. John plots naked revenge on Inez.

Strange Relations

Wendy's smug superiority tempts Angie to tell the truth about her and Ricky. Klaus tells the police about John's fight with Dave.
